Plastic packaging manufacturing company in Carson is looking to hire Electro-Maintenance Mechanics to join their team on the 2nd shift. Monday - Friday 6pm - 6am Must be available for overtime and weekends Performance Requirements: ? Strength demands: Includes exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and sitting, standing and walking to a significant degree. ? Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas. ? Experience with electrical systems, product manuals, schematics, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, reading mechanical drawings ? Experience in electrical/electronics, PLC?s (programmable logic controls), A/C and D/C motors, drives and controls. ? Experience wiring 24V and 480V motors; and programming settings on the VFD?s for these motors. ? Knowledge of in-house equipment and machinery. ? Proficiency with electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting with a strong understanding of AC and DC voltages and mechanical power transmission systems. ? All other duties and responsibilities determined by individual department and/or reasonably assigned from time to time. | |
