JobsRUs.com is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler III to support product development and engineering projects within a medical device manufacturing environment. This role involves mechanical assembly, sample builds, chemical mixing, product characterization, and testing preparation.

Pay Rate
$25.00 per hour

Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Some overtime may be available)

Job Summary

The Assembler III performs a variety of manufacturing, assembly, testing, and preparation activities supporting medical device development projects. This role works closely with engineering teams to build and characterize samples, prepare products for testing, and maintain accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, medical devices, chemical mixing, or laboratory support environments.

Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and prototype/sample builds
Mix chemical formulations according to detailed instructions
Apply coatings and lubricants to medical device components
Operate specialized manufacturing equipment and tooling
Heat-form catheter tips and related components
Photograph and document sample builds
Prepare products for conditioning and testing
Follow engineering protocols, SOPs, and work instructions
Inspect products and materials for quality compliance
Support product development and engineering studies
Identify and communicate abnormalities or equipment issues
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Qualifications

Required
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Mechanical assembly experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Basic math skills
Ability to work independently after training
Strong communication skills

Preferred
Medical device manufacturing experience
Catheter assembly experience
Chemical mixing experience
Laboratory technician experience
Prototype or sample build experience
Microscope inspection experience
R&D manufacturing support experience
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, sitting, and walking
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work with small parts and detailed assemblies
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination##
