JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Hydraulic Repair Technician for our client in Wichita, KS! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $22/hr Day Shift Job Description Core Responsibilities Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Disassemble, inspect, and measure hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and motors to identify root causes of failure. Repair & Rebuild: Replace seals, rods, valves, and gaskets to restore components to original manufacturer specifications. Testing: Operate test benches to verify pressure, flow, and leak-free operation of rebuilt components prior to delivery. Customer Service: Advise customers on repair versus replacement options, quote costs, and clearly document completed work. Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment, properly secure shop tools, and manage parts inventory. Calibration and repair of electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment Qualifications & Skills Education: High school diploma or GED required. Vocational or technical certification in industrial mechanics or hydraulics is highly preferred. Experience: 2?5 years of hands-on experience in repairing and troubleshooting hydraulic systems. Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and parts manuals. Tool Proficiency: Experience using micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and hose crimpers. Physical Requirements: Must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, crouch, and lift heavy components (up to 33 lbs) unassisted. | |
