JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our client in Fullerton! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $23.32/Hour Shift:M - F 6:00 to 4:30, availability on Sat from 5 to 8 hours depending on volume. Interview not required. Decision made based on resume! Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support operations in our aerospace fittings manufacturing facility. This role requires wearing multiple hats and playing a critical part in the receipt, inspection, and handling of incoming materials and outgoing products. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in handling and inspecting materials as they arrive?touching and verifying nearly every piece entering the facility for inventory or pending sale. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, comfort with precision measurement tools, and the ability to learn a wide variety of part types and inspection requirements. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities ? Receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw materials, outside processing materials, and other components ? Physically handle and verify materials upon receipt, ensuring accuracy for inventory or customer orders ? Perform detailed inspection for: ? Quality standards ? Dimensional accuracy (using calipers and measurement tools) ? Proper coding and identification ? Utilize precision tools such as calipers and weight scales to verify part specifications ? Understand that materials vary widely; there is no single standard receiving process?training and on-the-job learning are essential ? Accurately document inventory movements in ERP/inventory systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar) ? Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Purchasing teams to ensure material flow aligns with operations ? Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in compliance with customer and aerospace requirements ? Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment ? Perform inventory cycle counts and resolve discrepancies ? Operate manual pallet jacks; forklift operation may follow completion of company training ? Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and aerospace industry standards Work Environment & Physical Requirements ? 100% on your feet during shifts ? Frequent lifting, handling, and movement of materials (up to 40 lbs.) ? Hands-on role requiring continuous physical activity and attention to detail Qualifications & Requirements ? High school diploma or GED required ? Required: Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and scales ? Strong comfort with dimensional readings and basic inspection techniques (core requirement) ? 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or similar hands-on role preferred ? Mechanical aptitude and ability to quickly learn product variations and inspection requirements ? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ? Basic computer skills (ERP systems, email, Excel) ? Ability to adapt to a wide variety of materials and processes ? Forklift experience is helpful but not required (training provided) Preferred Qualifications ? Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments ? Familiarity with inventory control systems and compliance standards (MIL-STD, etc.) ? Understanding of ITAR, EAR, and export compliance regulations Education & Experience ? High school diploma or equivalent required ? 3+ years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience preferred | |
