Start Time : 02:30PM
End Time : 11:30PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions:

Perform repetitive machine operations (including reworking parts) such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, reaming and smoothing parts
Align and fasten parts using standard fixtures where established methods are followed
Visually inspect parts for burrs and damaged machine surface
Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks cracks or other irregularities from machined parts
Inspect parts for conformance to specifications by visual examination and the use of gauges or other measuring instruments
Accurately and regularly perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) requirements
Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations while maintaining a clean work area in orderly condition
Read analog or digital MICS or COMPAIRTORS or PROFILOMETER
Strong lathe background preferred
Perform other related responsibilities

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent
Must have manual machining experience
Minimum 7-10 years general or related machine shop experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities
Must demonstrate manual dexterity
Must be able to read and understand blueprints
Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics
Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
