JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Associate for our client in Hayward, CA! Pay $27.00/Hour Monday to Friday 7 am to 4 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch, OT could be required based on business needs. This position is ideal for individuals who are interested in growing their career, with the opportunity to transition into Inside Sales or Showroom roles over time based on performance and development. Key Responsibilities Perform general warehouse duties, including: Order picking, packing, staging, and shipping Receiving and verifying incoming shipments Maintaining a clean and organized workspace Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (training provided if needed) Assist with customer interactions at the counter: Greet customers and identify their product needs Answer basic product inquiries and help locate materials Accurately review and process: Sales orders Receiving documents Work orders Enter and manage orders within internal systems (e.g., Trilogy) Support overall team operations and learn multiple warehouse functions Provide a high level of customer service to a diverse customer base, including contractors and other trade professionals Required Qualifications Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment Forklift experience (certification not required; must be comfortable operating equipment) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to engage customers daily Ability to read and interpret work orders, sales orders, and receiving documents Basic computer skills, including: Email and internet navigation Willingness to learn internal systems Professionalism, reliability, and strong attendance Preferred Qualifications Experience in a customer-facing warehouse or retail environment (e.g., home improvement stores, supply houses) Interest in developing into Inside Sales or Showroom roles Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and learn new processes quickly Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Additional Requirements Must maintain a professional appearance due to customer-facing responsibilities Must be able to work on-site and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials Valid driver?s license required Note: Contingent workers will not operate company vehicles | |
