Job Description
The Financial Analyst I supports the assigned operational, contracting, and account management teams with analytic support for sourcing and implementation events. Works both independently and collaboratively to provide various financial and savings/opportunity analyses. This includes preparing market share data, analyzing vendor proposals and preparing detailed data for financial analysis.

Major Responsibilities
· Accurate and timely savings and opportunity analysis of vendor pricing proposals
· Data cleansing and analysis of purchase histories obtained through Requests for Information and internal data sources
· Support Sourcing team and Account Management throughout vendor negotiations
· Effective communication of results to finance and sourcing team leads
· Ensure accuracy and completeness of detailed pricing files as related to contracting projects
· Evaluate price and product amendments to purchasing agreements
· Ad Hoc requests from assigned teams
· Ongoing financial assistance as it relates to the management of purchasing agreements
· Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals
· Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals
· Accepts feedback well and works to improve performance when needed

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or healthcare
