Start Time : 06:30AM
End Time : 04:30PM
Working days : Tuesday - Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs product assembly using both discrete and sub-assembly level components by reading and applying documented assembly work instructions.
Actions include proper selection, handling and installation of components using both tools or machinery and methods identified in the assembly instructions.

Major Responsibilities or Essential Functions:

Reads and comprehends instructions and following established policy and procedures.
Assembles components and fastens parts and subassemblies accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications.
Assembles board level components using solder pot and point to point soldering techniques.
Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.
Reports any non-conformance or production barriers to production management with a
recommended solution
Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures to include wearing applicable PPE and performs ergonomic stretches

Other Functions:

Consistently follows lean manufacturing concepts including 5S.
Ability to flex to additional roles or responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
Essential:

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
High attention to detail
Self-motivated
Capable of reading assembly instruction and wiring diagrams.
Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw driver and operate machinery.
Experience in the basics of point-to-point soldering.
Computer literate
Ability to work alone and with others.

Desirable:

Intermediate skills in Access, Excel and Word
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
Work experience with solder pots or wave solder equipment.

Physical Demands Necessary to Perform Essential Function:

Visual inspection of work required.
Can lift weigh up to 26 pounds without lift assistance.
Continuous walking and standing throughout the 8-hour shift
Manipulate and grip small objects with either or both hands.
Frequent reaching, bending, carrying, pushing or pulling to assemble parts
Ability to distinguish the difference between colors
