Assembler II Instrument (Contract) - Milpitas, CA JobsRUs.com is hiring! We are seeking an Assembler II to support the build and assembly of advanced medical and laboratory equipment. This role involves hands-on electro-mechanical assembly in a team-driven, quality-focused manufacturing environment. Job Details Location: Milpitas, CA (Onsite) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Pay Rate: Up to $26/hour Weekly Hours: 40 Assignment Length: Contract (through July 2027, with potential extension) What You Will Do Perform electro-mechanical assembly of instruments and sub-assemblies Assemble optical, mechanical, fluidic, and electronic components Follow work instructions, SOPs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Complete in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met Document work in Device History Records (DHRs) and production systems Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and QA teams Support new product builds, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace What a Typical Day Looks Like You will work at a designated workstation building and assembling instrument components while: Following work orders and procedures Using hand tools and precision assembly techniques Entering and tracking production data Communicating with team members to resolve issues What We Are Looking For Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of assembly experience in manufacturing Experience using hand tools and basic computer systems Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Preferred: Electro-mechanical assembly experience Experience in medical device or high-tech manufacturing Knowledge of ISO 9000 or cGMP (21 CFR Part 820) Exposure to optical, fluidic, or electronic systems Key Skills Mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues during assembly Team-oriented with strong communication skills Comfortable working with documentation and data entry Continuous improvement mindset Physical Requirements Standing and working with hands for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 35 lbs) Fine motor skills for precision assembly work Benefits (through JobsRUs.com) Weekly pay (every Friday) Medical, dental, and vision insurance (after eligibility period) 401(k) Supplemental health insurance Dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment Why Join JobsRUs?
