JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Fabrication Associate for our client in Phoenix, AZ! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour Shift Details Start Time : 05:00AM End Time : 01:30PM Working days : Monday - Friday JOB DESCRIPTION: Fab Associate-Cutting and threading pipe, bundling pipe. Performing quality control on completed work. Responsibilities: Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard. Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies. Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe. Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and Client procedures. Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication. Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately. Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches. Thread pipe using Landis machines. Inspect and maintain forklift equipment. Qualifications: Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Knowledge of safe work practices in the pipe yard. Experience with machinery for cutting and threading pipe (training provided). Results-focused in a fast-paced environment. Capable of reading a tape measure accurately. Additional Considerations: Candidates with backgrounds in auto mechanics, machinery maintenance, automotive lines, diesel, or farm equipment are encouraged to apply. | |
