Forklift Operator 2nd Shift Location: plainfield, IN Pay Rate: $20.75/hour Shift: Monday through Friday 2:45pm to 11:15pm (Overtime may be required, including Saturdays) About the Role Jobsrus.com is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is responsible for safely handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, and supporting warehouse operations using material handling equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. What You'll Be Doing Operate material handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, etc.) Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments Pick and stage orders using RF scanners and warehouse systems Scan barcodes and label pallets accurately Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies Move, store, and retrieve products within the warehouse Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety policies and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Requirements 1+ year of experience operating material handling equipment (Reach truck, counterbalance forklift, slip/clamp attachments preferred) Ability to obtain forklift certification Experience using RF scanners and warehouse systems (WMS preferred) Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving documents Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to push/pull and move pallets using pallet jacks Comfortable working around moving equipment Work Environment Warehouse setting (temperature controlled) Moderate to loud noise levels Exposure to moving machinery and equipment Requirements Before Start Must pass background check and 10-panel drug screening Must complete required prescreen documentation Must wear safety shoes and safety vest Benefits Weekly pay (every Friday) Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance after 90 days 401(k) eligibility Supplemental health insurance options Temp-to-perm opportunity Why Join Jobsrus.com?
