DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:
The Benefits Analyst will play a key role in supporting the administration of employee benefits programs with a focus on the integration and maintenance of our benefits enrollment system and payroll processes.
This position ensures data accuracy, system optimization, and a seamless experience for employees from enrollment to payroll deductions.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to working across HR, payroll, IT, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities:
System and Data Management:
Maintain and support the benefits enrollment system (e.g., swift, Workday, ADP, etc.), including configuration updates, testing, and system enhancements.
Partner with HRIS and IT teams to ensure successful data integration between benefits systems and payroll platforms.
Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure benefit elections and payroll deductions are accurate and aligned.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve data integrity issues.
Benefits Administration:
Serve as a subject matter expert on benefit plans and enrollment workflows.
Assist with annual enrollment system setup, testing, and validation processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve employee issues related to benefits enrollment and payroll deductions.
Collaborate with vendors to implement system feeds, resolve discrepancies, and enhance employee experience.
Reporting and Compliance:
Generate regular and ad hoc reports on benefits participation, enrollment trends, and payroll deductions.
Support compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and other regulatory requirements through data accuracy and documentation.
Assist with audits, filings, and year-end processes including ACA reporting and Form 5500 preparation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Payroll, HRIS, and Total Rewards teams to ensure aligned processes and seamless handoffs.
Participate in system upgrades, new vendor implementations, and benefits-related projects.
Provide training and documentation for HR team members and employees as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in benefits administration, HRIS, or payroll systems.
Strong knowledge of benefits processes, open enrollment, and payroll deduction workflows.
Experience with benefits platforms (e.g., swift, Businessolver, Workday, SAP, Oracle) and file feed integrations.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with system testing, implementation, or configuration of benefits platforms.
Familiarity with ACA compliance, COBRA, and other regulatory benefit requirements.
Experience working in a large, complex organization or with union populations.
