Pay Rate - $45-55/hr Job Description The UX Research team is part of the Experience Design team that brings together interaction design, visual design, service design, and user research to deliver best-in-class user experiences. Our researchers care deeply about our users, and are continually striving to better ground the company in user-centered thinking. Our team conducts research to understand the end-to-end experiences across multiple platforms including mobile apps, mobile web, and desktop. Rolling Research Program (part of the UX team that is focused on evaluative research, doing in it quicker pace) that runs evaluative research initiatives, usability testing and concept testing (taking the design work from designers to the stakeholders / customers/ partners and get feedback). Supporting Sales, Rental, Rental Managers orgs. (essentially all divisions). The design team has approx. 150 ppl but will work closely with 6 other researchers on the team. primarily will work with designers and product managers, who identify the work the researchers will be doing and essentially be doing the hand-off, so to speak. Will be working mainly on the consumer side but may occasionally have other audiences therefore the ability to multitask and be task oriented is extremely important. Must be an evaluative viewing researcher with ability and concept testing at an extremely fast pace. Who you are You are able to employ a wide range of research methods. You are able to quickly turn around usability testing and tactical surveys, as well as get deeper qualitative insights through user interviews, diary studies, and field observations. You are able to execute research in an agile development process and juggle multiple deliverables. You think deeply about end-to-end experiences, including both digital and non-digital aspects. Most importantly, you are a passionate advocate for our users throughout the development process. Responsibilities Plan and execute research projects that impact products and features used by millions of people every day Generate insights for both generative and evaluative purposes Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams Collaborate with other researchers/research manager on project framing/scoping Lead research projects from start to finish: develop screeners and interview guides, moderate, analyze, synthesize, and deliver results Apply a variety of methodologies and approaches to understand complex problems Formulate insights for both generative and evaluative purposes Communicate results and illustrate recommendations in compelling and creative ways Develop a strong understanding of home-buyers needs and pain-points Will meet with stakeholders, and conduct 2-3 combined research studies within the same audience). Will manage stakeholders. Must be independent, do the intake with the design and product partners and run the study end to end within a 2-week cycle. Must have the ability to ramp up quickly. MUST HAVES Minimum of 5-7 years experience as a UX Researcher. Knowledge of google suite Previous experience with Usertesting.com (which is a research tool) Experience with Qualitative UX research methods as well as Behavioral Research experience Must have some time of training such as even a course will suffice, but not necessarily a degree. Previous UX Research training is strongly desired but not required. Must have knowledge of/experience with Quality of UX research methods/methodology. Figma is a+ but not required (software) Soft skills: The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time (as they will have different designs but same audience) To understand space, build great rapport with stakeholders, and the ability to execute and deliver independently. Must be very diligent, detail oriented, very operationally minded and adhere to processes, strong documentation skills, etc. |
