Description

Come be a part of our team at a globally known medical warehouse in Sparks MD. We are looking for a candidate who has proficiency in building medical electrical equipment.

Work days/hours: Shift is 5:45am-6:00pm Mon- Thurs. 5:45am-6:00pm Mon - Weds. opposite week.
Location: Hunt Valley, MD
Pay rate: $16.50/hr

Job Description:

Responsible for the labeling, inspecting and packaging of final container products with manual and/or automated packaging systems.
Operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
May perform other packaging tasks including placing labels on packages, operating small production equipment, putting manuals into binders, counting and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for the final product.
May also set-up, change-over and operate labeling and packaging equipment.
Responsible for data entry and imprinting computer generated labels.
Performs initial check of completed documents for completeness and accuracy.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves basic issues associated with packaging operations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Occasionally the employee may be required to lift or move at least 50 pounds. Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Understanding of electronics/electrical work.
High Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
Ability to use basic tools of measurement.
Availability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment..

Experience Preferred:
o High School degree required with 1 year manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred. Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.

Basic skills.
o Ability to work on assignments that are manual and routine in nature with the skill to recognize any deviations from specification
o Must be able to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically on a personal computer
o Must be able to effectively manage frequent assignment changes
Proficient/Working Skills:
o Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
o Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of Windows environment is required
o Use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve
o Must be able to work in a repetitive work environment and be able to stand for long periods of time

Nice to have:
Experience in an FDA regulated environment.
Good work history.
Warehouse experience
Electrical Apprentice or HVAC Apprentice welcomed.
